    Mr. Gushard has a strong technical background in US GAAP accounting, internal, external, and SEC reporting, SOX and internal controls, and mergers and acquisitions. Previously, Mr. Gushard worked 18 years in various financials roles including CFO at EMCORE Corporation, an international high-tech manufacturer of compound semiconductors. Prior to EMCORE, he was a CPA with the firm PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP. He has a BS in Finance from Pennsylvania State University and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
